Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service. Education/Experience: Graduate from course of study in nursing resulting in an associate degree, diploma or baccalaureate degree in nursing. One or more years nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Special Knowledge/Skills/Certifications/Licenses: Must maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse license. BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) IV skills, EKG skills, Rhythm Strip Interpretation skills Strong clinical and human relations skills. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and Park Nicollet Health Services. Demonstrates knowledge of age related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients. Applicants must have the ability to work in a fast-paced department! BLS required. (ACLS & PALS preferred or willing to obtain within 6-12 months of hire.) Clinic Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm, Saturdays & Sundays 8:00am-5:00pm, Holiday’s 8:00am-5:00pm. This position is .8 FTE every other weekend, 1 holiday per year. Central/South region which includes St. Louis Park, Carlson, Chanhassen, Burnsville and Lakeville locations.
